Local, House-Made, Delicious
At Jack of the Wood we prepare our delicious, satisfying pub fare with the freshest locally sourced ingredients we can find. We roast our meats in house, make our own sausage, and use regionally raised antibiotic and hormone-free ground beef, lamb, chicken and pork.
Many of our vegetables in season come from local farmers. Our breads are baked in Asheville at City Bakery. Everything at Jack’s is house made from scratch. We’re an old world tavern with old world ideas about how food should be. Stop by for a pint and a plate! Cheers!
