Upstream Rebellion was born in the hills of Western North Carolina, where front porch jams and festival fields raised them. A group of friends and musicians who found each other through a shared love of bluegrass — not just as a genre, but as a way of life.

From late-night college pickin’ sessions to backroad barn gigs, their music has always been tied to community, storytelling, and the raw energy of live performance.
