THE WELL DRINKERS
with Tyler Hood
Progressive Bluegrass & Americana • $5 Cover at Door
The Well Drinkers are a progressive, original bluegrass & Americana band based out of Western North Carolina and often playing festivals & venues across the Southeast.
Since the band’s creation in 2019, the group has striven to combine the traditional roots of Appalachian music with progressive instrumentation, songwriting and subject matter.
And the group doesn’t shy away from bringing experimental jams, jazz, Cajun, classical and reggae into their live performances.
The Well Drinkers are: Jake Bachman (lead vocals, mandolin), Adam Bachman (dobro, pedal steel, vocals), Josh Riley (upright bass, vocals), Jeremy Rilko (banjo, vocals) & Andrew Wakefield (guitar, vocals).
With a captivating storytelling style of songwriting, small town southern Indiana native Tyler Hood has found comfort & success in his strong midwestern roots.
Tyler was an original member of the southern Indiana band The Hill Figs. The Hill Figs found great success as a band in the Indiana & Kentucky music scene.
In 2022, Tyler stepped away from the band to focus on himself as a singer/songwriter. He teamed up with the Nashville-based label “Anti Corps” for his debut solo album, the Magnolia Sessions. Both his solo album & his work with The Hill Figs is available on all streaming platforms.
