Mud Tea is the premier rock & roll power trio out of Asheville, NC.

Old friends have reconnected to create music that matters, with apparent influences ranging from the hidden gems of rock and roll to the mud stumps of Appalachia, from the lairs of old-school metal to the grime of New Orleans funk.

Mud Tea is: Mark Schimick of Larry Keel & Natural Bridge on drums and mandolin, Toby Weaver on guitar and bass and Sam Wharton on bass and acoustic guitar.

Members have shared the stage with rockers such as Bloodkin and Far Too Jones; legends like Colonel Bruce Hampton and Ike Stubblefield; and bluegrass icons including Tony Rice, Vassar Clements, Peter Rowan and Sam Bush.
