Jesse Harman & the Jugs is an electrified conglomeration of epic proportions that draws from old school honky-tonk, swing, rock ’n roll & bluegrass. The band features some of the finest pickers from the Asheville area and is fronted by the multi-faceted local favorite Jesse Harman.
Originally hailing from the Garden Sate, Harman is a bluegrass artist at heart and has toured the country as part of the West King String Band for several years. In addition to fronting The Jugs, he also plays solo and with The Squealers.
Between strumming acoustic, slapping bass like nobody’s business and delivering twangy vocals along with brazen harmonica solos, Jesse keeps his crowd entertained with jokes & banter. He’s just a helluva showman!
And he cooks up a mean crawdad boil when he’s not making music!
