Tommy the Animal

Tommy the Animal is a Colorado band who pays homage to rock & roll from the ’60s and ’70s, “writin’ the music that’s playin’ in our heads”.

The band thrives on live performance energy, stage antics & 3-part harmonies. Their first 3 studio albums, Not Dead Yet, Peach Blow and Speed-o-Meter serve as musical reflections of the daily lives & grand adventures of songwriters Caleb Cofsky and Jack Douglas. Rounding out the band are musicians Ian Huschle, Norbert McGettigan & Max Rawson.

The band released their 4th LP, MULE in 2022. Built on and expanding upon a musical tradition grounded in ’60s & ’70s rock & Americana, MULE explores love, loss, encounters with strange characters and betting on horse races.
