The Josh Bennett Band is a group of five based in Athens, GA. Featuring electric guitar, bass and drums, with lead banjo added into the mix, JBB draws from bluegrass, rock, folk & funk influences to create a unique & compelling live sound that brings all that music to life — and then some!
What genre is the band? Says Bennett, “Our music is about bringing people together, no matter their background. Ever since the band formed, we have made it our goal to spread love & great music far and wide. And we’ve created a grassroots sound the majority of people have never heard before. We’ve been described as everything from southern rock to ‘funky bluegrass’. As long as people are filled with love and happiness from what we create, it’s all in the eye of the beholder.”
