Wyatt Yurth and The Gold Standard -  Facebook

Wyatt Yurth and the Gold Standard is a modern Western Swing band based in Asheville. They play classic standards as well as adapted country and folk songs. Equally at home at a jazz club or a barn dance, the group loves to play hot danceable music that brings the party. Their timeless sound harkens back to an era when music was at a crucial intersection, when jazz, blues, and stringband music combined, giving birth to western swing on the way to the dawn of country and rock and roll.

Steel City Jug Slammers at 5pm - Website  Facebook  Twitter  Instagram

Left Lane Cruiser is the "whiskey fueled two man frenzy of blues-driven rock'n roll noise straight from Fort Wayne, Indiana."  Here's a taste!

The Steel City Jug Slammers continues a tradition of jug band music that is highly influenced by the sounds of early Memphis string band and blues. Instrumentation in the band varies. While the guitar provides the pallet for the songs, it is carried by the back bone of the washtub bass and jug. On top of that you will hear anything from banjo- mandolin to banjo- guitar and maybe even a little kazoo.
